Photos of some of the great Souls and the Yogis of contemporary times and the recent past are presented for understanding of the divinity. These pictures are of the saints from Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity and Islam. We find the Divine Aura commonly presented round the heads in all these pictures.
Whenever we see the images of Gods of Hinduism, Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Vishnu, Lord Siva, Shakti, etc., the Godhood is presented through the divine aura round the heads. People just believe the existence of God and His human form is a mental concept of personified God as installed in the holy places for prayers and daily worship.
The fact Gods are given name and form, life breath and the human qualities proves that the Almighty God unqualified and beyond form is brought into form, giving birth to religion and ritualism. The Biblical concept of Lord that speaks to Moses and the Qu'ranic concept of Allah, the only God with no other Deity, are also the mental concepts of personified Gods for the purpose of human supplication.
Even though these concepts lack logic and reason, they are supported by strong belief in the religion. How to induct the reason into the concepts is a problem facing the wise. Should we keep quite and be the silent spectators to the insolent and impenetrable ignorance? Let us light the candle and make the humble attempt to dispel this deep routed ignorance.
The world is highly indebted and should salute and prostrate in humility and gratitude for the great Soul, who has picturised perfect divinity as divine aura round the heart in Jesus of Nazareth, in addition to the divine aura round the head. Jesus is the Mahayogi - the perfection of Supreme Soul as presented.
The Upanishads speak as follows in this context.
A stage below Self-realisation is beyond expression. It is profound stillness, perfect peace, tranquility and silence, where it vibrates not, either life movement the cognitive cosmic awareness or the world movement and the cosmic rhythm beneath. It is a state where the objective faculty goes back into the subject and the cognitive element is at perfect rest - A state comparable to that in the hard stone or as the space in the sky and that inside a pitch placed in the sky.
In such a state the Yogi feels no difference, whether he closes the eyes or opens, between day and night, between light and dark, between silence and sound, between wakeful and deep sleep states. That is the most natural state with total absence of all from gross to cosmic cause.
At this stage, the individual Soul seated in the heart as the unholy personality becomes softened, swollen and is burnt into fumes and flames and the divine aura forms round the heart. The arteries of the heart are then filled with the juice of a fine substance of reddish brown, white, blue, yellow and red and thus the divine aura is formed round the heart. It rises from the body and after forming the divine aura round the head joins and merges in the Supreme.
Behold! The Yogi suddenly loses all consciousness of `I'ness and merges in the yonder Soul, which is reddish brown, white, blue, yellow, etc. The rays of this Supreme spread out and enter the arteries of the heart and the rays from these arteries also spread out and enter into the Supreme Truth. This is the Mahayana, the Mahapandanam, the grand highway joining the Truth in the individual heart with that in the Supreme behind the three worlds. This is Nirvana, inundation into the Absolute, the ambrosial bliss and the self-realisation.
This is the silent whisper in humility for keen and rapt attention with a request to ponder on the Truth, which is one behind the three worlds.
