VERIFICATION THROUGH LANGUAGE :
Language is the expression of thought. Thought is on an issue and the issue is on an object. Language is therefore the knowledge of object or issue. There are three entities in the knowledge - knower, known and knowing. Knower is the first person and the known is the third person. The activity connecting the knower and known is the process - the subject and the object and the connection, predicating. When `I' am the subject knower, the object in the world (other than `I') stands before me as object. "Other than I" has wider range but not infinite for the reason "I ness" is excluded. `Aham' or `I ness' as we have seen is beyond definition and it is the same as the Self. Therefore, `I' is present in everything. Discriminating `I' from otherness is therefore verifiable. `I' is self-existent, self-conscient and independent, while otherness arises from `I' (is born,) is sustained through relation and is dissolved in `I ness' on cessation. `I ness' and otherness rise simultaneously. However, `I ness' precedes and otherness follows. In the process of activity that is knowing, it is the `I' that develops a relation and interspersing itself through out objective world, it gets dissipated in energy losing the potential. In this process, it is the `I' that is caught. It is the bondage, thereby stultifying its infinite nature into finites and losing its true nature.
To sum up the argument, the third person in language represents the formful world, the gross physical and material, which is fleeting, floating and is tending to perish. In the sense, whatever is born that alone moves, changes, grows, decays, destroys, dies, and disappears and all this is the endless play of the matter and the spirit combine. In the center, the nucleus or the heart of the fleeting particles lies the imperishable individual being coveting and picking up the body in the cherished form in the three states of the matter - the gross, subtle and the cause and thus himself created for self-fulfillment, the unending cyclic movement - the life visible and the life invisible like the seed to tree and the tree to seed process and thereby he is, verily, caught therein perpetually.
The Self is all-pervasive, radiant, without form, without any defect, immaculate, untainted, all knowing, the best of all, the uncaused cause and eternal. It pervades everything uniformly and eternally.
What a wonder of wonders I am! Salutation to myself, the Supreme Self, which knows no decay, birth or death and survives even after the destruction of the entire World from the Supreme down to a blade of grass. Salutations to myself, the Supreme Self within my body, which neither goes anywhere nor comes from anywhere, but abides permanently pervading the Universe. None is as capable as I am, the Supreme Self, which bears the entire Universe for all eternity without touching it. Such is the Self, nay! Myself, yourself, the inner controller and the immortal.
It is therefore the unseen seer, the unheard hearer, the unthought thinker, the unknown knower and so on. This Supreme Self or the pure consciousness cannot have another self or consciousness to know it.
